At Aidos Systems we make radar, microwave devices and specialized electronics.
Radar
Marine navigation radar is the main field of Aidos Systems. The company is wholly focused on the design and manufacture of radar for unique applications, primarily in the marine sphere but also, more recently, in aviation.
OWNERSHIP AND GOVERNANCE
Aidos Systems is privately owned.
Directors are Antonio Morelli and Robert Edrington.
HistoryAidos Systems was chartered in 2013. One of its four founders was Mr. Andrea Induti, a highly regarded telecommunications engineer who departed our World while still young, leaving his family of the city of Fermo and close friends of many places. We will forever cherish his memory and try to keep his spirit alive.
For our first four years we worked as a specialty design house, designing and prototyping radars for international marine electronics companies. Then in 2018 we grew into a manufacturing company, making radar sensors primarily for systems integrators. In 2021 we moved into our current premises which is optimal, in terms of floor space and overall layout, for laboratory and production operations. |

European Regional Development Fund (ERDF)

Aidos Systems is beneficiary of the ERDF (abbreviated FESR in Italian) in the 2014-2020 programming period. Funding was received through the Marche regional government of Italy for two specific radar projects:
- Solid-state technology for radar applications - project identification number 14385 (grant year 2017)
- Anti-piracy radar - project identification number 19162 (grant year 2019)
